Default Vibration

I have a 93 LT1 my question is this. I have a vibration between 40 and 47 MPH that is very noticible. Above this speed the drive train smooths out. It seems more noticeable when the air compressor is running. The car is much smoother on cold days when only the heat is running. I have also noticed that it seems to be RPM sensitive from around 1000 to 1100 RPM's. Did the general put a harmonic balancer or something like it on the compressor or the crank??

So have you done any mods or repairs to the rotating assembly lately? I have heard of several issues involving higher mileage and the stock balancer causing some vibration.. Mine has a similiar problem, but I am hoping to get my new engine built soon, then I'll have a balanced rotating assembly..
