I''m getting new "A"-mold style wheels for my Vette, primarily because of putting C-5 breaks on the front. No problem there. My question concerns 11" rear wheels vice the 9 1/2" wheels.
My car is a 1987 coupe with standard suspension. I see sets available including 4 9 1/2" wheels and others offering 2 9 1/2" plus 2 11" wheels. I understand the proper backset for my 87 is 35 MM front and 38 MM rear. Will I have any clearence problems with 11" wheels with 38 mm backset on the rear?? Enough ride/performance improvement to prefer them over the 9 1/2" wheels?
