Time for last run at the track
I am making a year end run before spring time and I want to set a best time. My mechanic only has time to install one of two options on hand before I run Saturday night. Can you guys tell me from experience witch will give me the best et. a) LT headers with free flow cats (my exhaust is stock) or b) 3.55 gears, tranny cooler and a shift kit (i have 3.07s now). So far my best is 13.33 at 105.8mph. Thanks.

I would lean toward the LT headers based on my motor and the results I got. But, considering that MOJO is running high 12s with stock everything on the motor including the cast iron manifolds, I say give it gears.
When the time comes you swap the cam you will really need the LT headers.

ask yourself how far you want to take the car? D36's are weak and once you change the gear set and go with a smaller pinion the gear overlap is less and there for weaker.
