I did the TB bypass yesterday and when I went for a drive my “Low Coolant” light came on. I double-checked the coolant level after the car was hot and it was just fine (I had filled it back up after leaking some during the tb bypass). I felt both sides of the hoses (the ¾” and ½” hoses) and both were very hot which means to me that coolant is flowing through there just fine. The “Low Coolant” light goes on & off intermittently but is on for most of the time. Any thoughts?
Sounds like a burping is in order. IIRC, the coolant level sensor is under the neck of the top radiator tank. You did re-fill at the upper tank (vs. the lower recovery tank), right?
