LT4 Conversion Kit with Hot Cam Emissions

Guys,
I need help here. I was ready to order and they told me that the kit will not meet emissions?
I live in northern Ky and they test for emissions!
What is the deal?
I know that I am not the only one out there needing to know this.
I was planning on installing this on a stock LT1 with stock exhaust.

Help!

As long as you have the factory cats even with the LT4 HOT cam, you'll pass the hardest emission test (IM240, aka the rollers).

What year LT1?? If you get a good tune you should be fine.

"They" were just telling you that it is an "off-road only" accessory, which is what they have to say to cover their butts. The LT4 heads and probably the cam come from GM with notices on them about being off road only.

That doesn't mean they won't pass emissions. People pass in CA with Hot Cams on LT4s. KY emissions are a lot easier.

I forgot to mention that if there is ever an issue with the car not passing. I can tell you a couple tricks that work well to get it through. If I can get a 572 CID 620 HP crate engine to pass emissions in an 86 pick up without cats I know I can make your hot cammed LT1 pass easily
