Accel or Bosch injectors for lt1 ?

Which type of fuel injector do you guys recommend?
If you want to have them cleaned, there guys here can recommend you to a reputable facility to clean them for you. One I know if is Russ at RC Engineering. His website is: www.rceng.com
go to one of those calculators and see what you need to do to get 80% duty cycle. bigger injectors aren't good unless its to lower the duty cycle. they will just be less effective/efficient.

Holley, NOS injectors are made by Delphi, same as the GM Multecs
Thats why they are good injectors

But a 92 would have 22lb injectors right so it probably would be good to get the 24lb aftermarket ones there right?
You'll be just fine running the Hot Cam with stock injectors.

Excellent. You knew what I was thinkin.

I have an opportunity to buy 28# injectors at a good price. Do you think this would be overkill?
What would I have to do to make the 28# work in my 1994?

ummm no. a blown 350 should be using much bigger injectors that that...
depends on fuel pressure... but a blown 350 =500rwhp? on 28# injectors?
idont think the 28# for a good price are a bad idea, but thats me
Programming? Adjusting Regulator?
LT4 injectors were bigger and would be rated at the same fuel pressure as the LT1. If they are LT4 injectors for a good price, go for it. If they're LS1 injectors, pass. They have to be modified slightly to even make them fit so it really turns into a hassle.
As far as making it work, you need to program the injector constant in the computer to reflect the change. That in and of itself isn't hard, you just have to know what to program the value to. This can be strictly a guess unless you're running them at rated pressure.

( (sqrt) new pressure/old pressure ) x old flow rate = new flow rate
For instance the LS1 injectors at 55 PSI with an old flow rate of 28 lbs
((sqrt) 43.5/55) x 28 = .8893 x 28 = 24.9 lbs/hr
Another example for a Ford Motorsport injector rated 24lbs/hr at 39 PSI with a pressure change to 43.5 PSI
((sqrt) 43.5/39) = 1.056 x 24 = 25.35 lbs/hr
I have heard some people saying that the LS1 injectors work fine and others say they have had problems. Mainly because they are demensionally shorter than the original multec injectors that your car came with. The Ford motorsports, Accel, Delphi Lucas and the standard bosch designed injectors all fit fine without any problems.
The LS1 injectors are also known as a bosch2 injector with an all pastic body. They were also used in ford applications as well. Most of the LS1 boys use FMS or other Bosch replacements with they upsize for performance uses.
The owner of the injectors said "They are a direct replacment, An after market Fuel prsure regulator will help when you dyno tune the car but is not needed."
tjwong, you will probably doing my programming so I will find out more info for you when I ready to send you the unit.

Here is a link to a the specs on the injetors from Racetronics vesion. http://www.racetronix.com/12561462RFM.html
If you don't the second you pressurize that fuel rail the injectors will slam down into the intake and seperate from the rail, spewing fuel everywhere. They're fine injectors but they really aren't meant for the LT1 car. They CAN work but just be aware that there are issues to overcome when using them.
