Default ? about using a hypertech chip w/my NOS

I'm getting ready to finish up my NOS setup on Monday, and was wondering if I could keep my hypertech chip in it. It's a thermomaster. I'm sure it advances timing a bit, I'm not sure how much though. The NOS manual says not to use any chips w/their setup....are any of you guys running aftermarket performance chips w/your NOS?

I would install the stock chip unless you can find out how many degrees of advance are in the chip.
You can run racing fuel at 110 oct and retard the engine according to the shot you use.

The reason is because Hypertech will advance the timing several degrees. And that is not something you want to do with NOS.
