No, it is of a later design.
Someone sells an adapter to make later tops fit earlier models, but I dont know who.

86L-88 have one top and 89 and up have another.The mounting brackets and holes are a bit different.Hope this helps...there maybe be a kit that adapts a 89 and up roof to the 86L-88 coupes.Try ecklers or someone and see what they got.I have a top diagram schematic saved on my computer for the differences in years with the tops.If you want it,email me at cleary321@aol.com and I will send it to you.
