96 LT1 Timing question?
I believe my optispark gave up the ghost, so I'm going to replace it. Eventually, I would like to do a cam swap. I have seen in the past on this forum, that you guys have mentioned a book that is like the bible for doing cam swaps on these optispark engines. I guess it goes in detail about setting the timing with the optispark and what's involved. So if any of you know what book I am talking about i'd appreciate the title and where I can purchase the book in question, thanks in advance.

Camshaft Install
There is no setting the timing with the opti spark, it only goes in one way. The timing is set thru the PCM on the LT1/4's.

Thanks STL, i thought you had to line up some slots on the optispark for timing when you install it. I haven't really read up on it yet but I remember forum members here refering to a book about it. As far as the cam install, I have that covered as I've done a couple of those, I'm just not familar with the optispark, thanks for your reply.
