Default Help Removing TPI Intake Runners

I need help from somebody who has done this. I have all of the bolts out, but the runners don't seem to want to disengage from the manifold. They are loose, but still seem stuck. I don't want to pry them with anything for fear of breaking something. Any tips? Thanks for the help.

Alot of guys miss the trick bolts. Look close. You have a bolt on each side that is removed from the opposite side. They go through the base and into the runners. Check close before prying.

There are a few inside bolts you may have missed, look closely along the inside of the runners.

If there is nothing else holding it, I would use a little strength.
Try lightly prying it, it has to come off, the gaskets are keeping it on.
Probably has that gasket glue on each side of the gaskets.

Make sure all the lowers are out. They can be hard to see. Try pulling out first instead of up. You may be hitting the fuel rails

Well, this is how it goes. First it was the two bolts between the runners down by the rocker cover that I was missing. Feel totally stupid. Then, as if I wasn't having enough fun, the bolt on the A/C under the clutch is a Torx 40 which stripped when I tried tried to take it out. Seems like a strange choice of heads for a bolt that gets pretty frozen in after 17 years. I guess the A/C will stay on until I get the engine out. This is my first computer FI, and I can't tell if I'm having fun yet.

Thanks to all those who helped. I'm sure you'll hear more about this adventure in the upcoming weeks.

The bolt under the a/c can also be removed with a 12mm or 1/2" open end wrench, i forget which.

There are 20 bolts in total holding the runners on. 8 on the upper flanges, 12 on the lower.
