I have a rebuilt 1986 truck 700 R-4 that I want to install in my 1984 Corvette. Are there any changes to the lock up solenoid or 4th gear switch that I need to make so that it shifts properly??

I'd appreciate any info . Thanks
You will probably need a governor recalibration kit from Summit, $29.00.
your tranny will probably be shifting early, some of that is determined by the gear ratio.
Unless that truck uses the same "C" beam driveline connection as a C4, I don't see how you're gonna bolt it in the 'vette. I was under the impression that the C4 trans case was unique to the 'vette. Better check before you take anything apart!
Also check the speedo gears and swap them if necessary. Many '84's had a 27 spline input shaft. Everything after '84 used 30 spline. You will want to be sure you are prepared with a converter that fits.
