1989 Anti-Lock Problem
I need help fella's. My "Anti-Lock" warning lite is on constantly. It will not reset with a battery disconnect. If any of you have had this problem--what was the problem and how did you diagnose the problem.

Mine turned out to be a bad wheel sensor. Those are also probably the easiest things to visually check too. The broken on on my '86 had the tab knocked off of it so it wasnt able to pick up the ABS hub to send a signal to the computer.
If you dont find a bad sensor let me know. Ive got a Wagner ABS service manual to troubleshoot the 86-89 Corvette Bosch 2S ABS systems.

Pull the fuse to the ECM from the fuse box. Or cut the power from the batt. stand and look at your car for about 30 seconds and put the power back to it.
If you still get the light.... when you turn the key on can you hear the ABS working behing the drivers seat. (in the storage box) check that. and get back to us......

Mine turned out to be an easy fix...I tapped the master cyl res with a rubber mallet...stuck sensor..then to be on the safe side I bleed my whole system down the following weekend...never a problem since
