Default OK, now what do I do?

I've had my 95 in storage in Austin, Texas since May of 2003. Sometime around this May I will go get it. The tank is full of gas and I put some stabilizer in the tank before I stored it. I doubt I put in enough. The battery has been disconnected. The storage facility made me fill the tank before I stored it.

1) Anything I need to do before taking it out?

2) Can I just burn off the old gas (maybe fill up when half full) or do I need to empty the tank?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Charge the battery, or replace it as it may no longer hold a charge...Change the engine oil...As far as the gas, if you put some Sta-Bil it should still be ok. I don't know how easy it would be to drain the tank on the C4 because that would be the ideal thing to do. However, I would just drive it (if it runs ok) and fill the tank at the half way mark.

j/k I didn't know you had a C4. Along with what Admiral94 said I would put the battery on charge over night. It should be fine with the rest of that stuff. I would also drive really nice until that first tank of gas is gone and watch you gauges.

Hook up hte battery,.... double check the fluids & tire pressure,..... fire it up and go. It will be sluggish due to old gas, & PCM that is still learning.

It is not easy to drain a full tank, and what do you do w/ +16gallons of heavy gas?

A full tank will out-gas more, but is less prone to condensing water. Adding a bottle of dry-gas before you take it out won't hurt. The sloshing acting helps the dry-gas do it's thing.
