Has anyone changed the original twin TBI to a Holley 670 using a after market intake. If you have what TBI did you use. The twin TBI doesn't flow alot of air and the stock intake is for lower RPM than most after market ones.
Thanks for any info on this question

After I severely ported my intake and had a fantastic gain at the strip, I bored my TBs out to 2". No further gain. The rest if my engine is all stock, so it may help an engine that breathes better.

Wasn't there some guy on the internet somewhere that was making custom intake for the old CFI systems? He tool a Weiend intake and milled it down and installed a new CNC top plate that accepted the twin throttle bodies. I searched but couldn't find him any more.

You can check out this alternative for more power:
Thanks to all for the info
I have seen a set up like the intake that had a different top and the TBI were mounted on it.
Good to know that the stock intake is the hold up on getting more power.
i can probiably just mount them on a aftermarket 2 X 4 intake with a adapter plate.
I appreciate the link. I have been aware of the X-Ram for some time. I am yet to be convinced that it performs any better, or even as well, as my ported stocker. There are a lot of X-Ramed cars out there that aren't as quick as mine, and some have heads, cams, headers, gears, and or other stuff. Thanks, TJ.
