TPI Plenum Differences
I'm trying to determine how the early TPI plenum (MAF) differs from the SD plenum. Side by side, the two parts appear to be the same.
Anyone have any clues?

Saw pics on here one time that showed a difference in the vacuum ports, the ones above injectors 6&8, and map cars have the map sensor in that area. Not sure of any differences that would really matter.

The '89-'91 L98 use a simplified plenum style whereas the '85-'88 plenum have a cold start passage under the plenum front left side and a diamond shaped EGR opening in the front center below the two TB openings.
In addition the '90-'91 plenum has a hole in the right rear for the MAP sensor.
