I really appreciate all of the input from you folks that responded. I gave it much thought and went with a 1800rpm stall TC. Guess I am getting older and the appeal of burning down the road at warp speed is not as desireable as drivability, aggravation issues etc.
The stock TC that I took off is a 1397rpm stall, so I guess in a few days I will know if I did the right thing.
