I can't help you with the exhaust question, but I thought I'd give you my experience with the 24 lb Ford injectors. I put them on my 91 a couple years back and since both our cars are speed density they probably acted similarly in the cars. My car also ran very rich after the injectors and no amount of fiddling with the fuel pressure (holley afpr) would improve the situation. I ended up having a custom prom burned which corrected the problem. I got dyno runs with a/f readings somewhere around here. I suspect your in the same boat as me. It seems that a lot of the MAF guys can get away with these injectors without tuning, but the SD didn't seem to like these changes.
I used a shop in my neighborhood that has a dyno, JD's Performance (Huntingdon Valley, PA). I think I paid about $225 or so for the custom chip which included dyno runs with a/f readings.
