Default Looking for fuse

Anyone know what fuse, if any, is for the power windows? Or where might I find the fuse? I can't seem to find one listed for windows in the fuse panel. It's a '91 ZR-1.

The driver side window stopped working the other day. At first I suspected the motor had gone bad. The passenger side worked fine. Now the passenger side has stopped also. My thought is there may be an electrical problem, as opposed to bad motors.

Any thoughts and advice is appreciated.

Might have found it. Big 30 amp fuse marked wdo. Now the passenger side is working again, but not the driver's side. Back to square one.

Well it's progress, anyway. Often, the wires will fatigue and break (inside the insulation) around where they enter the door from all of the opening and closing. Obviously, it usually shows up on the driver's side first. Could just be a bad switch too.

It sounds like you got the right fuse; possibly the fault in the driver side took out the fuse, disabling the passenger side too.

If you don't hear the motor run, check to see if power is on the wires from the switch.

If the motor runs the regulator is likely broken; you can get a replacement unit from Contemporary Corvette (link on my site).

Thanks guys. I didn't replace the fuse. I pulled it and re-inserted it. That's when the passenger side started working again. Are these resetting breakers as opposed to fuseable links?

There is no motor sound from the driver's side. It is dead. I will try and see if I have power to the switch. How do I do this? Do you just pop the switch out with a pry tool? Volt meter or test light to the wires?

Thanks again.

It is a circuit breaker not a fuse.
Start at the switch and work towards the motor. Good chance it is the switch

Does the window work if you push or pull on the switch?
If so, switch might be ok but the connector beneith it may need pushing on firmer (Be prepared for squashed fingers!)
