do I take the innder fenger well out?
or the side panel?
if so how do I take it out...
when I put it back in do i need to align it or just bolt it in?
thanks your friend
Sean
There are about 4 Torx type scres lining the fender well and 2 10 mm bolts on on the top near the door jam.
f youlook in the seam near the rocker panel there is anoter 10 mm bolt there as well. You can slide an open end wrench in and loosen it up, you shouldn't have o pull it all the ay out but if you loosen it it should allow you enough room to pull the battery out.
Redbull: This project really looks much worse BEFORE you do it. It is really not that bad! Just a note that as you reassemble the side panel, take the time to adjust it so that the spacing between it and the door is the same as the spacing between the hood edge and the door. This will prevent the door from rubbing the panel when you open the door.

The previous owner did not do this. It takes about 2 minutes to line it up right. This is time well spent. Easy project.
