what is the cc on stock L98 heads
getting ready to do complete rebuild .will be installing new crn104224 cam
hooker long tube headers . looking to have heads ported & polished & replace pistons would like to up the compression.

need some in put thanks

0 decking your block will help; If you aren't pulling the block out, angle milling the heads and intake will help bump it up and change the valve angle at the same time;head gasket thickness is a factor too: a competent machinist will know how much to shave. Make sure to check piston to valve clearance. Good Luck!

The cc if the intake tracts?
Out of curiousity, are ya gonna do a 355 or a stroker?

BTW, I have that cam, 355 cid, those headers and those heads(decked, 2.00 valves, no porting). Under a superram and it kicked ***.

After you do heads, cam and exhaust you will need to consider intake mods to really take advantage of those.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Use the formulas, do the math to establish the compression ratio (10.5-10.8max) or have the machine shop do it, don't estimate. If you are looking for someone to do your heads, visit www.steadfastperformance.com
