i picked up a breathless performance ram air set up at carlise this past year and love it .it installed nicely and make the engine compartment look alot less cluttered.some people like em and some people dont but i love mine.i also plan on a bigmouth to help scoop some more air.
I agree. I'm just curious as to how it will hold up to the high Arizona temperatures.
I live in Strongsville, Ohio. A State trooper stopped me on the turnpike.
Gave me a ticket $75.00. Ohio is the worst. For all you Ohio drivers, my friend and I are working on to hide the front plate out of site until you need it. It will pop out and up if you see a cop.

Ohio isn't a driver friendly state is it ?
Have you come up with some kind of front plate bracket yet ?
Something that can be made to go up or dawn as needed... like the spring loaded fuel cap cover that houses the license plate on the rear of some older cars perhaps... just an idea...
Ive ben running mine around northern ohio for the last 2 years with no front plate --no hassels yet---. I do keep the front plate on the dash when im driving around. I personally think that its a great system.
I had a BPP Vortex and the thing warped and cracked all over the place, a quality piece it is not! I have to wonder if it was doing more harm than good. The ID of the round part where the filter slips on measured only 3 1/8in. which is much less area than my throttle body openings. The idea of the Vortex is good but the execution leaves much to be desired. I'm hoping Vararam comes through with something worthwhile, till then I'll stick with my cut lid.
