Default FedEx & Windshields Updates

Well,

I thought i would just drop the forum members a quick note & let you know what fedex did about the windshields.

DENIED ALL CLAIMS

According to FeDex T.O.S. "We do not cover for glass"

They even lost one package & still haven't found it, they say the same thing, we will not pay out for the lost package either because it contained glass.

They damaged & lost 19 windshields. The freight co. we used last 2 weeks have delivered 13 & damaged NONE.

Kurt.

That's a DISGRACE! and will affect my future dealings with Fed-Ex,
but I paid for my windshield on 6/11 and would like to get what I paid for.....

I'm not a whiner, but I need to hear from you as what your game plan is. Last you told me you would probably send a truck to south Florida to deliver the windshields for this area. Haven't heard from you in a few weeks.

I used to work for Fed Ex. The entire organization was fk'd up from top to bottom. Sorry if anyone works for Fed Ex, but that was just my experience!

Chris,

I was hoping i could get resolution from FedEx, but this isn't going to happen. I am re evaluating my options at this time, but i can almost say with 100% certainty that the crating co. will bame FeDeX & so the vicious circle begins.

I've just about written it off and moved past this whole ordeal, i just wanted to get the windshields to my customers & that's is what i've almost completed, at least will have done by the end of this week.

Not to hi-jack...........

UPS is no better.

I bought e.... and the guy took the stuff to The UPS store to have them box and ship. I get a box with less then half full of packing and 2 bent jeep doors. I'm out $825. doors and shipping/boxing fee Plus $959.36 to repair(body/paint work). It took 3 1/2 months to get a check for $200. from UPS. They did not even give back the shipping and boxing fee.

I know my lost is peanuts compaired to the cost of 19 windshields, but I'm still pissed
