Any ZR-1 forum member around Ocala, Florida?
I am buying a 93 vette from a gentleman in Ocala.
I will send him a deposit to hold the car but in the meantime if someone could look it over, at least I won't have to purchase return ticket in case the car turns out below expectation.
If anyone can help, it would be great.

What's your time frame, it may be a bad time around Christmas to ask for help. Family, friends, travel, and last minute shopping eat in to everybodies spare time during the holidays. I'm about 2 hours away and could look at it, but it may not be until next weekend. Let me know.

Yes, please.
Gentleman's name is Philip and lives in Ocala.
He is a forum member so I trust his description of the 93 he is selling. However, I live in DC now (lived in Lake Mary 'till 2001 actually) and will have to fly out with my son and wanted to make sure that I am not stranded after flying down with one way ticket.
If you can contact, go over and see the car I would really appreciate it.

Sorry, I didn't mean for it to come across bad. Right now I'm in the middle of helping a friend get a business started, helping a neighbor with major renovations to his house involving moving structural walls and wiring changes (I'm an engineer), doing a little touch up painting on my daughters' Yukon so she can sell it as well as taking care of a neighbors pet over the holidays while they are out of town. If the OP had responded to me, I would have done my best to accomodate his time frame even if I had to take a day off from work this week.

I really just felt bad that he hadn't gotten any responses and I couldn't break away, that's all I was trying to say with the sad face.
