Finalist 2020 C4 of the Year - Unmodified

Default FS: 1990 ZR1 project

I found this one on hemmings.com this morning. It does not say much of anything and does not even have a picture, but could be obtained for cheap. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/...te/540694.html

From the Hemmings ad: ".... CORVETTE: 1990 ZR1, needs work, project car or source for hot rod, price negotiable.... "

You're right about not saying much of anything! Wonder how "negotiable" one has to be for a unlisted price?

Maybe phrogs needs a new project car - - - Bet he could make it an interesting "source for a hot rod!"

Maybe we could at least get the VIN so we know the car's been scrapped.

Nice! I had to change the 2ndary vac system and injectors too, but paid a hell of a lot more than $7.7k! Sounds like you got a hell of a car for the money.

All the IL guys get the deals.. LOL

that is less then I paid for my 90 with 60K and mine needs a bunch more TLC, although the motor is solid, the interior was shot and it needs a small bit of body work and paint and possibly a hood

WOW!

Dude, that is awesome. Congratulations.

Best of luck with it. Use the money you saved to make it really good.

I love stories like this one. Even if the car is rough...the LT5 was worth that alone.
