Default first Scottsdale ZR-1 (BJ)

Here's the first ZR-1 to go up for sale at BJ/Scottsdale. $33K. Not too bad. Add at least 10% to that for commissions.

This looks like a car that was for sale on the ZR-1 site a few months ago.

Not to bad for a car that doesnt have the original Rims and tires and also has added badges to the hood.

Nice low mile example engine is clean but I would want all the original parts if im paying a premium but thats me.

welcome another ZR-1 owner to the family

You're correct. They didn't list it as a ZR-1 on the docket...a mistake by the seller for sure. Selling price was just at the high end of good ZR-1 for 1991, but the commissions hurt both buyer and seller by adding to what the buyer paid and the seller got. Pretty ZR-1, though.

It does have the original wheels and tires. The description says they are included along with the ones on the car. Attention to detail...

Are you finding the bid results on line? If so, what is the link to it?
I saw two ZR-1s listed, lot #355 and #398. Are there any others at the auction?

Well, there's this "famous" one with a front end that looks like an '80s Camaro.

oh **** I didnt read it that takes to much time....

But I do like this part of it

The car is all original with no modifications ever. The only parts not original are the battery and oil filter. It also comes with the original wheels and tires in perfect condition with the "nubbies" still on the tires

Then its not original but lets add the rims tires and the ZR-1 emblems as not original items

And here is the best Corvette slogan in the world This ZR1 has spent all of its life in climate-controlled storage and has never seen the rain or snow

except for the month it was stored outside of the plant at BG and then was on a open car transporter to the dealer it was sold from.

So im sure it has seen rain and may have even seen snow

Dang, that's the Shinoda body. I think it's a great looking body, though on that car the execution leaves something to be desired. Fix the wheels and remove that white thing on the side, and now we're talking. That body kit does seem to look better on non-red cars, though.
