Changing Fluids
Hey guys,
I haven't changed anything other than oil/anti freeze in my Z and need to do it......
Question is what fluids do you recommend and then how much of each do I need? (Quarts)

Transmission
What else do I need?

Tranny fluid is kind of up to you as there are numerous opinions. Most stick with the Castrol TWS 10W60. You'll need 3L, but will only use about 2.25L. This can be purchased from your local BMW dealer.
I used the Mobil1 gear lube with the rec'd GM anti-slip additive for the rear end.

Highly recommend you take a look at the "Maintenance Tips" section in the ZR1 Registery. There is a gold mine of info on good maintenance practices. The "Tech Tips" and "Common Problems" sections are also quite valuable. Good luck, and there is a lot of excellent advice and help here if you run into questions with any of it.
