I had a PowerEffects (no longer made) on the car for a while, great sound, crazy drone! Freinds had B&B, Borlas, Flowmasters, you name it. The they all had bad drone. As I said, I have only experienced Corsa and the new Magnaflows not to have the drone.

Keep in mind, exhaust sound, like anything else, is very subjective. What I think is too loud others love. Some love the sound of their systems so much they don't care about the drone. Others love the drone because it keeps their wives and GF's out of the car with them! To them that's peace.

In the end it's what you like the best, it's what makes America great!
(Until Obama decides it's not healthy for you, sorry couldn't resist)

Corsa's It sounds behind the car rather than it it. Especially with headers and flow-thru CATS.

Yeah, I don't have any pics of it with the straight pipes. I'll have to snap some shots and upload them. I fabbed up twin round tips also, to give it some what of a stock feel to them.

Certainly not stock sounding, but they look the part.

I used Magnaflow # 35157 stainless steel tips. They are rolled square double wall with a diameter of 3 inch X 3.5 inch. They sort of remind me of the OEM tips.

I had them installed about 1/2 inch pass the top edge of bumper's exhaust cutout and there is NO DRONE!!!!!!

I did this two years ago and I'll still real, real happy with the setup.

That Dang Ed, he comes to Hampton Roads, get us all buying Red ZR-1's and AutoCrossing then let's Uncle Sam ship him off to NC, Afghanistan, Japan, Iraq, and NM and sells the Granddaddy of Hampton Roads ZR-1's to you

Hope you are still enjoying the old girl

Are the outboard tips on the Corsa functional? Seems the inboard tips are always black, while the outboards are shiny clean.

I love the B & B Triflos and would not give them up for anything. I guess it is all personal preference and I don't notice the dreaded drone I hear about on mine. I love the look and the sound.

Oh Yea. She took a trip up to BG and Jim Van Dorn found an extra 60+ HP in her.

Here she is on US129 last Nov Slaying the Dragon. AND to get back on topic - - - look at those tips!

Corrected? What type Dyno?

388 rwhp with only bolt on parts would make your LT5 the stoutest of all time.

My error.

Didn't take note that these were 405hp LT5s. Yup, those numbers sound correct.

We 375hp guys have to work a little harder (spend more money) to get that RWHP.
