I plan to add a camber brace if I can find one And a harness bar if I can find one as well. Should tighten things up .

Did r-d make a brace for the lt5?

Oh and WTB SAMCO air duct !!!

Thanks for the info.

BTW, I may have got the last r-d racing LT5 camber brace for sale out there about 2 months ago!

Thanks guys! Started headers 2 nights back and got 1 side out. Did some comparos .. Good weight savings too. Absolutely esctatic about firing it up soon! Right sizes wheel barrels are in should pick them up tonight. By weekend hopefully the wheels will be on and the car pretty much close to where I want it. After that will be clutch/flywheel.

Few pics of the headers vs manifolds...

SW no air catted 2" long tubes

Poor cylinder exhausting into this all this time.. A wall !

Another cyl exhausting into this.. I can see why headers pick up so much on this motor.

25 lbs approx

Nice spike !

Not too sure if I do!! Putting the rascals to bed so haven't been able to get started just yet but I took a nice pic just now I wanted to share will focus on the headers tonight I want to try and fire the car up by 6am. Assembling the wheels shouldn't take more than an hour or so.

Alright so updates updates!! Car fired up today and sounds absolutely fantastic !! Tires fit exactly the way I wanted and I can't wait to get the car on the ground and aligned. Will have to decide after that if it needs a spacer anywhere front or back to get it how I want. Headers are all done everything is cleaned up. Brakes will be on and bled tomorrow and hopefully the frame brace will get bolted up and adjusted... Still lots of minor stuff to go !!

Plugged up the egr..

Rear tires on

Fronts look great almost no lip up front .. Like it really should be

Rear tires came out great just as expected lol nice big lip on the rear... Like it should be

Before and after brakes

Had to throw a wheel on

Slr is on charge and I have my lenses ready.. Hopefully by weekend ill have all the little stuff worked out and installed and alignment done .. And some more polish lol... And then some (hopefully) good righ res photos at a few nice spots I have picked out !

Mike

I am amazed at the outcome of your build and really like that you do it the right way without any nickel and dime on every thing or anything that you do. This is the way it should be done. My hats off to you

Let me know if you decide to sell the items we talked about earlier.

Thanks guys for the compliments and kind words This build has been everything I've envisioned for the entire time I've owned my 93. It took a bit longer mostly because I tend to work a little slow ( cleaning everything in sight!) and schedule is tight with 2 little ones and 10-12 hr shifts at work.

VERY happy to report that the wheels are in and the car was driven yesterday the car is VERY LOW. How low? My corsas are 2" off the road. Yesterday on a very slight incline to a driveway I dragged the resonator and both mufflers ill have to work on the muffler height and angles and Im fairly certain it will need N exhaust shoppe and some bending and welding to get things how I want to look and gain a bit of clearance.

Lots of little mods to go and detail work but overall she's driving and I am absolutely thrilled at the outcome so far. I had a grin from ear to ear yesterday all night.. Until I scraped exiting the gas station and it pulled a muffler from the pipe :o. The frame stiffeners are fantastic. Ordering it for my 93 no question. Ill report on that later. The haibeck chip .. Oh wow so happy that showed up yesterday too the car runs brilliant !!

Teaser pic.. Il post a few more phone pics shortly

Few cell pics from yesterday. Unwashed for 2 weeks I figured I'd take it out dirty to make sure everything was good. Normally I wouldn't leave my garage without tire shine lol
