Default 95 ZR-1 F/S low miles 510 HP Sold

The car has been sold. Thanks to all who inquired.--Bob

I have posted the following in the C4s for sale section here and on the ZR-1Net Registry forum but wanted to alert ZR-1 people about it directly.
My low miles, late production ’95 ZR-1 is for sale once again, now at a lower price of $36,000. I have seen ‘95s for sale recently ranging in prices from $20k to $60k. I am sure all are great depending on your needs and wants, but all are very different cars with very different mileages. To the best of my knowledge, none of the others have world-renowned ZR-1 specialist Marc Haibeck’s 510 HP package and continual service by him since my purchase. My car is #409 of 448 produced in April 1995, Polo Green with a Beige interior, both tops, 32,500 miles, stock appearing, two prior owners and in excellent condition. Has a couple other period correct modifications (Hurst Shifter, QTP Cutouts) and currently has a removable harness bar I use as a camera and fire extinguisher mount. Has almost new Michelin Pilot Sports (335 rears). It was originally a California car purchased completely stock in 2012 with 22,000 miles. Car includes both tops, original floor mats, NCM Window Sticker and Build Sheet and service documentation since 2012. Factory shop manuals and all parts removed by Marc during his upgrades are available separately if wanted. This is a great condition ’95 ZR-1 with more than $20k of Haibeck service and modifications, beautiful, fast and reliable. Never fails to generate discussion at shows.

I have put 10,000 miles on it in the last 4-1/2 years, including multiple trips to Bowling Green. When the sun is out I used as a daily driver. It has been run once at Beech Bend (12.4/116 w/o power shifting) and for three laps at the inaugural touring session at the NCM Motorsport Park. Many ZR-1 Net Registry members have seen and/or driven it and can attest to its condition. It has won several local show trophies. I do need to sell it as I have an occasional back issue that makes it more difficult to use a manual shift. I would hope a Net Registry member or Corvette Forum member will find a way to become its newest caretaker. The car is currently stored on a lift in my heated home garage north of Chicago. A fair number of pictures are in my albums section and I will be glad to supply more details and as many photos as needed. Anyone in or coming to the Chicago area is welcome to see it. If you are interested, please PM me and I will provide further contact information. Also, here is a link to the prior for sale thread that ran much of last year: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...on-510-hp.html Some have suggested that I had originally priced it high last year (beginning at $43,000) just so I could enjoy it last summer (which I did), but my research had actually shown the higher pricing to be correct. Well, the market has spoken and it needs a new home.--Bob

Thanks--It is a beautiful car. And the extra 100 HP makes it fun as well. Wish I didn't have to sell too.--Bob

Well, George, I can't go Corvette-less for very long, can I? I would start to twitch again like I did when I sold my '93 Z and had to buy the '95. But old guy now so need an automatic, like a C7 Z06 maybe...We'll see....Bob
