PS. You use the FSM to check your tire pressure and change your engine oil?[/QUOTE]
Yes Tom, I do check the manuals when working on something I am not intimately familiar with. This applies to airplanes, cars, industrial equipment and even small engines.
You may have the specs for everything memorized, but I do not want to risk incorrectly diagnosing or servicing something just because I am too proud to admit I do not know everything.

Just want to say thanks again for all the reply’s on here, car has been a slow go but it is running, decided to go ahead and upgrade interior, carpet, real carbon fiber skins on a few pieces, also put a hurst short throw shifter in, anyways not in a big hurry since it’s winter. FSM has helped a lot on figuring things out, thanks for info on getting it, I do have one problem since hooking the components back up, the engine full power mode is off now, I checked ground g 106, looks fine, I just want it to stay on, don’t plan on selling it, so I’m not worried about keeping it factory, bypass Valet switch? Can I just get a standard 2 prong rocker switch and hook wires up? Or ground one out? If that’s not the problem was wondering where to start looking why it’s off, have both books, thanks for all the reply’s and help again

Contact Marc Haibeck and get his chip. His chip keeps the engine in full power all the time, turns on the fans sooner and has other advantages. Take a look at his website www.zr1specialist.com or give him a call at 630-458-8427.
