New guy here. I just sold my 67 Firebird 400 and am looking to get a C5 vette. I've had several F bodies over the years but getting a corvette never crossed my mind. I had a guy offer a C5 for trade on the Firebird and my wife loved the look so here I am.

I'm pretty dead set on getting a 6 speed. That's really the one thing I won't reconsider. It will be a weekend car. I'm a police officer and my wife is a district mgr and we each have our own work cars in addition to her Maxima and my Silverado so the garage and driveway are packed. With that said, I don't really care about it being low mileage so long as it was maintained and treated right.

After the Firebird I don't want anything at all that NEEDS work done, i.e. body, interior, engine problems, etc.. I've modded every car I have ever owned and will do the same to this one. There's a big difference between want and need!

Preferences and bonus points go to:
HUD, C6 wheels, mods to include exhaust, tunes, etc
