1998 Pewter Targa Coupe
I have for sale a beautiful pewter 1998 Chevrolet Corvette coupe.
This has been my incredibly reliable daily for the last 5 years. I'm selling it now because my new commute in LA includes many trafficy trips and side streets versus the last several years where I would drive 80% open freeway.
I've tracked all the maintenance since I bought it and the engine and transmission are solid. New Harmonic Balancer, AC compressor, new water pump, radiator tank, spark plugs and wires, brake rotors and pads and brass headlight gears.
Right now its running some pretty bald tires. I figured the new buyer would want preference of which performance tire they want. It currently has NXT Step cat-back exhaust and a Corsa X-pipe. The interior includes 35% ceramic tint, a custom Napa leather wrapped steering wheel and sound/heat padding for a comfier ride.
The air conditioning is mid fix since the air conditioning compressor gear had shattered and left particles in the AC tubes. I replaced the AC compressor and we kept finding the filter clogged. It needs a thorough flush and refill, but that's it. Just haven't found the time to get that done.
This is a clean project car in a beautiful color that glows at sunset. I will miss it very much but it's time to part ways.
Best car I've ever owned.
Automatic
176,000 miles
$9,000 or best offer

Bump! Any offers? Solid Engine, new harmonic balancer. Which is what usually goes after 150k. Don't forget the Corvette Museum just got 770k mile C5.
