I will be adding a SC to the mods in my signature, I own LS1 Edit and will have to drive at least 5 hours to get to a tuner, any suggestions on mods to make. I am installing a Procharger P1sc and 42lb Green tops.
Thanks Kirby
Racetronix fuel pump, valve springs (Comp 918's or 921's) and a valve cover breather. Don't forget to swap out the spark plugs (NGK TR6's work well with FI and are inexpensive).
Kirby, if you spend any more money... spend it on a tuner. Please allow an experienced tuner to tell you what you need based on feedback they obtain while tuning your ride. What are your power expectations? How many miles on the long block? Recommend health engine check which might include a dynamic compression check, and/or leakdown, coolant system pressure check, general inspection of plugs, sifting of oil during a change, etc... What flavor S/C kit are you going to run? Daily driver? Pump fuel? Race Fuel? Mix? Drag race? Road Race? Weekend Warrior? Future expectations? These are questions and observations you need to discuss with your tuner. How close is Phil @ DTE in Fort Wayne?... or driving up to see Chris and Doug at ECS?
With your setup... ya might want to at least discuss a diff strut kit with Phil at DTE... 3.73's,3200 stall, and a Procharger equal alot of strain on the diff/tranny mount if ya hook just right.
Looks like you have a solid foundation to build on... keep us posted on your progress.

Appreciate the advice. I use a tuner in town (Backstreet Performance)with a dynojet but for the actual tuning of the car once I get the SC installed and back home. Since I will be installing 5 hours away they will help with some advice, but some experience from forum member lessons has proven out in the past for me and them. Regarding the other question about the car it has about 40k miles(only 5 by me in last 2 years), I only drive on weekends or nice days, no racing at track or street, I simply like the power, I know the question some may ask like my wife then why do it, my answer is it is about the only vice I have. At the time of install "crashed 94" Rodney will install beefed up powertrain with all his magic potion. My expectations are if not then I will remove it and sell.
Thanks

This sounds about right If you have Edit you should be able to get it running pretty good for the ride there.Your setup is pretty basic nowaday's.
