I want horsepower, and fast. It's sad to see 14.01 ( ) come up on the dile at the track. I was wondering what mods I would need to do first. Mind you, my ride is an A4, and the engine is so STOCK it isn't even funny. I have a Blackwing air enduction kit. I also had a sound system with some good weight in the back when I ran that time. Now with the system taken out and running with about 125 shot, how would my time be looking? Is there some web site that could explain everything to me? Maybe one or two of ya'll have time? I need to know how to put nitrous in my car without the thought of "Explosion".

Well with a stock motor you are looking @ about 300rwhp and lets say you add a 150 shot of gas.Ok now you at 450rwhp/450rwtq(assuming you go with TNT F2 kit)in an a4 coupe I would venture to say 11.70's to 12.30's depending on many variables like tires, track prep, temp, humidity, altitude and so on.

But If you go with a converter over 3000 stall the you will need a transmission cooler too.

Converter, help me on this. Catalytic converter ? Or is that another name for a different part? What gear ratioos would ya'll suggest? and would they be top end fast, or rear end fast?

A torque converter. I would go with a 3000 stall unless you really are going to drag race it a lot. A transmission cooler is also a good idea.
I am currently running a 3.73 gear and thats good gear but I don't do a lot of driving.

Here is what I have and this is what I run.

Vararam intake
Ported throttle body and Maf.
Zo6 intake manifold
Long tube headers
no cats
Borla xr-1 exhast
Mild comp cam
3.73 rear end gear
3800 stall yank converter
Transmission cooler
CCW drag wheel set

last time out I ran 11.6 at 115mph

I will answer any questions you have about anything I have.

We are all here to help

get headers, a 3000 stall converter, 3.73 or 3.42 gears and go from there

ask blueflames the specifics since he has already gone through this and is willing to help

You could put a system on that car just like it sits.Bone stock. The only thing that is needed to upgrade is spark plugs to a NGK TR6.You can spray a 150 shot on it with no problems.
