Default max boost level?

stock displacement, forged, afr heads, 8.4 compression, 94 gas and L19 head studs. what psi do you think?
i understand there are lots of variables but take a guess. oh yeah 97 lines speed inc rails and reg. and lpe and msd bap w/60 motorons.
i dont think that fuel will run out before the octane will. right?

octane will be less of an issue w/ alky Nick.. also, some have gone incredibly higher in boost with it.

w/o alky 18 maybe 20 if you don't run out of fuel and go w/ bigger injectors. w/ alky, capable of 5 more.

That's my guess.. only a guess.

Hey Nick,
I don't know what the max boost level is going to be, but it will at least be 20. I installed my switchable boost controller yesterday...obviously I haven't switched it to on yet..not until I do the re tune down at Andy's on hi octane. It is a simple switch next to my gear shift. Off is the 9lb setting, 16-17lbs will be the ON setting. If the thing works like it should, I am going to be very happy with the controller. It has a little locking ****/dial that I mounted under the hood. You move it clock wise to increase boost 0-15lbs.

Your compression ratio should allow you to use 91 octane up to a maximum of 12lbs of boost.

kevin the 3 extra octane points from 94 should see a 1 to 2 pounds i'd imagine.

also i need to make up my mind if i am going w/hp sd 2 bar. i intially wanted 3 but not sure if itll be ready in time. i dont own ls1 edit so i really cannot reflash if i wanna run higher boost, tuner not around the corner. give me some ideas
