$20K is easily spent by the time you factor in forged motor, reworked fuel system, etc, etc.

I will be down at Andy's in 2 weeks to finish the tune..I expect more than 700rwhp easily. Get a good look Andy
I know the guy who will be fabricating for Andy, and all I can say is that he is the best welder I have ever seen, or not seen. What I mean by that is....I was at his shop why he was completing a 57 Chevy 44x Big Block with twin GT40s on the car...only made like 2600hp...all stainless steel headers and you could not even see where the welds were at. He had also just got done fabricating headers for the STS as a local dealership option. The guy is the best and somewhat legendary for his work..as it is a functional work of art...just killer stuff. Only problem is that he is always slammed..but maybe he has cleared some room in his Calendar for Andy.

Andy,
Aside from it's many advantages, your in southern california.. you must go "bling.. bling", top mount.
Oh yea.. later on after the forum members get theirs (at a lower price, of course ) makin it smog legal would be really nice.

8. Will it be a true bolt on kit or will any cutting/welding required to install the kit?
9. Any warranty with the kit?
10. Can the turbos be upgraded later on?

The reason I met with Andy's fab guy was because he was talking about doing a kit over 1 year ago. Problem then was they were both slammed with work and I wanted to sell my car. I had no idea that my deal would fall through and I would end up being the R&D car for PTK. Now that Andy has posted it on the forum, it tells me him and his fabricator are looking at it much more seriously. Which only means a good thing for the rest of you.

700 RWHP on forged 346 cid sets the line with the introduction of new twin turbo kits like TTI Stage X, PTK, TPS or others.
The biggest RWHP twin turbo corvettes have bottom mounted turbos. Although I'm not a big fan of the top mounted twin turbo kits, the turbo manifold design and the location and specs of the turbos used make the difference between the good and the best. It's not rocket science to make the piping work and put a big intercooler up front once the manifolds and turbos are done.
A high flowing, durable, header like turbo manifold with twin Garrett GT 35R Dual Ball Bearing turbos, a big intercooler up front, 3" piping all around and good tuning would make a killer twin turbo kit. Space will be one of the biggest issues.
Let me know if you need a 03 Z06 test mule car for the C5 Twin Turbo kit.
Good luck.

Andy!
Jeez, I know you're being bombarded with questions (that you don't have answers for yet), plus having to deal with actual customer work, but...
...do you have any ideas about the timeframe (assuming you get to allocate the time you want on this product). I'm sure there are quite a few people (myself included) that might be _very_ inclined to hold off on a TT purchase, and see how your solutions pans out.
In the grand scheme of things, waiting another 2, even 3 months isn't a huge deal for most people, if the wait means a more cost effective, and improved TT offering.
Thanks!

Andy,
So, you're going to be building a twin turbo to help feed that air into my ATI....It's about time we got some REAL horsepower going!
Cant wait
Maybe you could also install that "fuel-on-the-fly" system at the same time...I'm going to need it.

Also, from what research I did before, there were concerns whether the original TTi stage 3 kit was good for higher power levels such as 1000rwhp. I know of someone that was going to do an all out kit and wasnt sure if he would reach his goal of 1000+rwhp. I am not sure if this has been addressed with the stage x.
I already have a 408 and makings of a fuel system. Just need to swap to lower compression pistons. So much of the cost has been absorbed.
If he could offer something around $10k turnkey that will reach the power levels, along with his customer service background, it will sell like hotcakes.

The TTi Stage III, AFAIK wasn't really much different than the Stage I except for the IC. The published articles I read about the Stage I show that the kit was intended for around 500 rwhp. The Stage X, on the other hand, has way more potential.
