Default Budget blower buildup

What do you guys think of this budget buildup. What RWHP would you predict?

(This is a purely hypothetical example)

Stock block
Stock crank
8.0:1 reverse dome piston
eagle or compstar rod
Bone Stock head (LS1) with ARP's
02 LS6 cam with PP double springs
Stock LS1 intake, stock throttle body
160 stat

ATI P1SC or D1SC with pulley setup for 17 pounds boost at 6000rpm
Dual pump setup (probably Walbro 340s)
60# or bigger injectors
Methonal kit with seperate external pump and tank

Built 4L60E trans
3200 stall converter on boost

TPIS Headers with 3 inch Xpipe
TR6 plugs
Pump gas (94 octane)
LS1 edit tuning

I would think 600RWHP would be easily possible on pump gas with water/meth mix. Do you think I am crazy?

I would think you would be dealing with belt problems at 17 #'s. I would go with an LS6 intake manifold, at a minimum.

I would also O ring the block and/or heads if you want to run that much boost. Thats a LOT of boost.

I would recomend a D and stay around 14psi.

Default 383

I would bore the stock motor to a 383 and add a D1SC 10 lbs. (Just like I did) I got 625 RWHP and it runs pretty good..................My big problem is traction

I wonder what the motor would make power wise on 14#'s and the above mods with a D1SC blower.

17#'s isn't a whole lot on 8.0:1 comp with the right intercooler or alky setup.

With ARPs and nondecked stock heads it should hold if the tuning is good. With nondecked AFR's it'd handle almost double that boost with the right setup

14#'s with a D1SC should make very nice numbers.

I think he meant -8 cc pistons, not 8:1 compression.....I would try not to run 17#s of boost, it is tough on the blower, and the motor. say 9:5:1 CR and 14#s...that should make some big power...probably more like 650's or more!

I DID mean 8.0:1 compression

For the ~3% power difference (on motor) between 8:1 and 9.0:1 I can run PUMP gas all day long, run good timing and use the compressor to flow the air for a given power level.

I know one ATI guy making 675RWHP with a D1SC, 8:1 comp on PUMP gas with NO meth whatsoever.
