3-6 weeks is more realistic for tuning a new untested bracket/belt setup.

Maybe you can do the movie without the blower finished.

I cant wait to see my paint either...LOL
HOK is a full sponsor and Richie Col. is a semi sponsor and my god there quality. Vette Ess. is a full sponsor and Kens stuff is just awesome. ECS offered me free gears to back down to 3.42 but they dont have any cores at this time. As far as the brackets Chris and I are working it out. I cant forget to mention LG Moto. for semi sponsorship on his long tubes and Rick Anth. for his semi sponsorshop on my Dewitts. He has such great stuff. Exedy also is a full sponsor and looking forward using that twin. I look at MTI's work quality takes time. LOL
I have to say I TRUELY HAVE a FORUM SUPPORTED car!! Our Vendors are AWESOME!!!!!!

Default Deposit on 383 stroker with MTI last week

Jeff quoted me 10 -12 weeks for the 383, install of course will be quoted around the time the kit is finished.

I am a newbie with vettes and MTI, have been a mustang guy since the early 80's, dealt most recently with Strictly Performance in Houston - great bunch of guys, very busy also.

From what I see (have only been in MTI 4 times now in the last month) they are extremely busy...on each occasion I have stopped in the bays have been full and another 15 - 20 cars are in the back lot.

I was told 32 engines are ahead of my 383, hence the wait.

I work at Shell E&P 3 miles down the street so I will be checking on my car almost everyday once the kit is complete.

Jon, might be a stupid question but, whats the difference between a sponsor and a semi sponsor? Sponsor gives everything to you for free and semi sponsor only cuts you a deal?

Well, full sponsors are companies that take care of 90-100% of the bill. Semi sponsors help me out in some way or another. With out my sponsors I would not have the vette that I have. They are all amazing. Fiull sponsors like VE work is so amazing I cant imagine going to anyone else, same with HOK. I have to say thanks to the forum vendors that helped me thus far.
