Default Working on new nitrous setup..

Well its finally time to switch over to a direct port for alittle insurance. I am working with Chris @ East Coast Supercharging and putting together a crazy a$$ setup. Direct Port capable of 500hp with alternative fuel. I will go at least a 400 shot on my lil 346 before its all over with. You guys running strokers better watch out for this small cube missle...

No kidding. That car is a fast 346 as is. The Russians must be offloading their nuclear armament to Phil.

I am very excited about the project. When I was first told about the idea, I was kinda confused about if it would work or not but after talking to a couple of people they had nothing but good things to say. This isn't no 87,91,91 or 110 - 116 octane race fuel either.

It sounds like you might have a 500hp+ hand grenade on your hands!

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Actually this combo is gonna be much safer than the wet system I currently have. I have had my wet system for about 2 1/2 years and have had only 2 accidents. With this new system there is very little chance of nitrous backfire.

Phillip,
You should have a nice looking set up.We had a call yesterday from the REP at NX you were talking to.He said you were putting together a system like our custom kit and needed to know some of the parts we used on it.Did he get you taken care of Ok.Did you decide on the hard line or braided line? Either will look very nice.
Enjoy.

Dave,
I feel kinda bad riding off of your idea but man its a beautiful kit. I am probably going to do the hard lines even though I like the braided lines. Thanks a bunch for all of your help.

Phil dont think of it like that.I dont...Im glad you have a hook up.I would do the same. As short as the hard lines will be it should be pretty easy to work with.It will look real good also.Im just happy you are using quality parts.
If you guys need any help let me know.I dont mind.
Dave
