You can also try the Nitto R2s, Although they now have an upgraded tire. This gives me great traction, without sacrificing handling!

Good Luck! I got out run by a friend of mine in his stock GT! My car has no traction in first and second gear!

Looks like Nitto offers 3 tires that will work for the STREET.

555ZR ... 300 rating, Traction A
555R ......100 ", Traction A
555R11 ... 100 ", Traction A

I've got the ZR tire. Good ride, good wear. Still, the spin on launch is too much for my 3.90 transaxle ... but, much better than with the stock runflats. Hooks well on 1-2 shift however ... where the runflats were worthless.

I think my next set will be either the R or R11. Who has experience with these two and can give review?

I have the 555R11, with 487 rwhp and 4.10 rear end.

Have not tested the spin out of first, but I can not make them spin in second. The run flats would spin in 3rd.

Within a week plus I will put them through additional testing in first.

They change alot with the temps. They will spin alot when the temps are low. I have R2's and they are sweet when temps go over 70s, but in the 40's - they are slippery like the F1's.

Default Better traction

Hire someone to follow you around and spray your tires with traction compound before you get on the throttle. Or you can back off the boost, say down to 1 or 2 psi. That way you can preserve your tires and please the locals.

We will be watching for your tire testing at track of the R2's .... also let us know what front/rear sizes you went with.

Drop the clutch @ different RPM's and estimate spin distances before you get hooked.
