Just curious if anyone else here had an automatic Twin Turbo car. And what rear end you are running and how do you like the Twin Turbo setup with the auto transmission?
Thanks
a/4 here with ptk twins. i am running 3:15 gears. my hp data logger shows that ill be able to pull 142-144 @ little under 6700rpms in third gear. that speed was my goal when i first started this project.
Your car looks great. I know this is a stupid question, but is getting traction impossible in first gear with the stock tires? I will have 3.45 gears with the 500/500 lingenfelter TT package.
I recently converted to an A4 from an M12. I am running 3.42 gears, mostly for strength. It traps just a wisker under 140 in the 1/4 mile. The auto is a lot easier than the stick to get down the track. But keep in mind the A4 will become a maintainance item if your leaning on them.
All in all the A4 is well suited for turbo cars.
Phil

so converted to "our" side!!
phil it feels good doesnt it?
BTW with new edit on the tranny is working very well.
Really though, I will never drag race or race the car on a track. It's not to say that I won't mash the gas, but it won't be beaten on like a drum.
It has to last me since it will be a daily driver!
