I have a just completed A@A with 740 hp and over 700 hp,6spd, and my 18 inch drag radials are useless.I am thinking about going to a 16 but is there a way to go 15 on a 97 c5,big props to my idols steath and paul zo6.who is running the best combo with a irs and a stick because this hp is useless right now.

Like Paul Major did, you would have to redue the entire rear end, suspension and go with smaller rotors (mounting brackets) to clear the 15" rims on a Corvette.

The 16" CCW rims will barely fit.

Personally, I think you will mod your car useless if you do that. Dont go changing your wheels/tires so drastically that it completely degrades all other capabilities of the car. There is a LOT of us here that have 700+rwhp. Your definately not alone. You just have to learn to use the throttle. Keep the 18"DR's.. Maybe you can switch to another brand. But if you go swapping you wheels/tires for a set of 15/16" tires, the only fun you'll have is light to light with all the ricers.

IMHO

Stick with Drag Radials (18's)... what PSI are you running them at?

I keep mine at 18# on the street and 10-12 for the track.....

How old are your radials... they only have a shelf life of about 6 months before they start to harden up.
