Default Cam Difference / Gains

Ok I need some help here and I will try to make a long story short.

I had a Cartek stage2x cam installed in my car and 6 wks later blew the clutch and had to tear the whole car apart again, well this time I decided to make it a stroker but since the cam was only 6wks old I used it over and have had no problems.
I only picked up about 13 hp but picked up 65 lbs of torque, well some time has passed and I would like to go with a larger cam and my question is how much power do you guys think I will pick up?
I'm also going to up the shot to a 150 instead of the current 100 and the ultimate goal is to get in the tens and I'm not a professional driver so I need as much hp as possible to move my fat a** down the track that fast.

Current cam 224/228 590 113ls
New cam 232/232 595/595 114ls

Thanks for any help in advance, Bob

232/232 @ 114 really isn't very radical. I'd probably go bigger.

I was thinking that wouldn't be much different but can I go bigger without having to fly-cut my pistons? The heads are from Cartek as well and just ported ls1 heads don't beleive thet were milled or anything.
How much would different heads cost and would different heads allow me to run a more radical cam?
Thanks, Bob

If your heads are not milled, you do not need to flycut, even with a LG G5X-3 or bigger.

So does anyone know the specs on the LGX-3 cam? I plan on having the work done at Speed, inc just outside of Chicago and they rec. the smaller cam but he didn't say why. Has anyone had experience with Speed, inc and have a cam suggestion?

Speed Inc and FLP are both good shops, FLP seems to do more Vettes. That’s just my take on it.

I am assuming you are talking about LG's G5X3 cam which is very popular. LG keeps the duration and timings to themselves. But here is the lift and lobe seperation angles

G5X3

.600
.610

My current cam is 234/240 598/608 114LSA. The G5X-3 is 600/610 and 2 degrees longer intake and 4 degrees longer exhaust duration
