My son installed a combination boost/vacuum gauge for me on my 98 A4. The tuner needed the gauge so he could finish the tune after we installed A&A's PISC. All we are getting is vacuum readings. We hooked up the hose at the back of the engine where we supposed to. Any thoughts??? I'm sure it is something dumb.
It reads vacuum when the car is at an idle and cruising.. it only goes into boost when the car is actually boosting. So take the car out and step on the gas pedal and watch the gauge go the other way.
I tried revving the car up in the driveway, and it is not reading any boost. However, everything is hooked up and it is blowing some serious air into the engine. I am picking the car up today from the transmission shop. I had a level 5 installed. The original transmission had LOTS of miles and only lasted TWO days after the engine was up and running.
