Default Need HELP (traction)....Please

Okay, I found out that stock type Z06 rear wheels will fit over my Brake system. So I am going to order some 18"x12" repo's. My car is tubbed. So the question is...what is the best drag tires for this set-up.

Things are going to BREAK

Thanks

get the BFG DR's in 305-35-18 I believe.....they are the stickiest 18 in. tire you can get at the present time. IF MT comes out with a 18 tire, then definately get that!

The Nitto's are OK, but require a healthy burnout to get sticky and still are not as soft/sticky as the BFG DR's.

SRG

I have had 3 sizes of BFG DR's, Nitto's, and the new MT ET Street Radials (plus various other slicks and street slicks), and the BFG's are great all around tires, but the MT ET Street Radials hook better.

I have the 335/30/18 nittos now and they hook decent , but are more prone to wheelhop than the BFG's.

the bfg is your best bet right now and since your tubbed i would go for the 345's. or hold your breath till M/T brings out their 18's.
good luck.

Gary,

I think hands down the big boy BFG DRAG Radials that come in 345/18 sizes will give your best chance of hooking up by way of the widest drag radial that is made for your set-up!!
