Does anybody know if you run on a Dynapack dyno if it's basically the same horsepower and torque numbers as a Dynajet or Mustang dyno? Is there a correction factor commonly used? Just my curiousity because I sometimes hear folks say corrected rwhp, etc.
Three guys here locally tested Rick's dynopak against a local dynojet.
"They were all dead nuts on," and have been in the past as well.
This was coming a supporter of the other dynojet shop.
I believe Rick has his setup for 15% drivetrain loss.
Dynojets can be manipulated. EG. Readings, etc. Tires, etc..
Also it should be noted that mine was checked on a Rick's Dynopak and yet another dynojet and they came in with the same numbers before tuning.

The only reason i can imagine causing the Dynapack to measure higher numbers than anything else (if it does) is that it eliminates the wheelspin because it is hubmounted!
The rest is based on the parameters the operator feeds the computer with.
I dynoed mine on a Dynapack 5032....
