so far so good. just thought i'd give you guys on the fence a little heads up. last year after 1-2 highway pulls on a 100 shot the pedal would stick and i'd have to pull it up with my foot. put an ls7 in this winter with the same master and slave, i have an 04 so some people think it is the upgraded unit, but i did drill out the line.
today did some good n/a and 100 shot pulls and the clutch never had an issue knock on wood! pedal is in almost the same spot as before, maybe a little lower on the floor for release, but as expected pedal feel is almost identical to what i had before.
yep, i would suggest doing something while the motor is out. the kooks make the clutch swap with the motor in the car soooo much harder than it needs to be. what kind of fp are you running chris?
K...I made my own set up. Running a Bosch 0 580 254 044 in parallel with the stock pump, aftermarket fuel rails, aeromotive FP regulator, MSD boost a pump and a return line back to the tank...very similar to the ECS fuel system
What's your rwhp with your current setup? I am debating between Cartek or LS7 clutch. Thanks.

i put down 404 on motor friday. on a fat 150 shot with some nitrous activation issues i was at 540ish. i'll be strapping down again soon to get some of the spray issues sorted out.
I've had the ls7 clutch in mine for 3 months, hard pulls on the street and a few Drag strip starts and it is bullet proof so far, knock on wood(street tires only)
I think its too early to say what HP the LS7 clutch is good to. Some owners of C6Z have modified to around 500 RWHP ... and are seeing slippage rather quickly afterwards. Apparently the clutch doesn't handle heat friction well and some are looking to replace it with other aftermarket products.
LS7 clutch worked well for me when I was making 503/518 and is still working great now though the nitrous is gone.
My take on the LS7 clutch? If you want the most driveable clutch that you might occasionally take to the track that can handle 500 rwhp, get the LS7 no questions asked.
ive been running the clutch on my 02 z and have had no problems...I even put it through some nitrous runs the other day (currently making about 480whp/540wtq).....clutch held fine - no issues
