Ranger has found the pedal often hangs on him if he slips the clutch on launch. He believes the friction heat of slippage is the cause.
He is only running stock power in his car.
Apparently others are finding same issue. Some are having clutch replaced by GM ... and a newly designed clutch with stronger springs is now being used as replacement by GM.

that may be true. i would highly suggest doing the drill mod with the hydraulics while doing the clutch. i'm not much into drag racing more street stuff, so i don't have to slip it as much. still holding great!!
