Default Need Help.......

If i get a maggie supercharger do i HAVE to change anything from stock to aftermarket??? Such as........Cam, Heads, Etc??????

Where is the best and cheapest place to get a maggie supercharger???

Stock heads and cam are fine.

You'll want larger injectors, fuel pump, and possibly valve springs.

Remember that the MagnaCharger requires an aftermarket hood..

As for price - keep an eye on the C5 Parts section.

if you purchase new. the boxes should have everything included except the hood.
EDIT: fluids and spark plugs are usually excluded, oil, coolant, etc....not sure if water wetter is included in the boxes but they recommend adding it to the maggy system....if your going intercooled anyway.

if u buy from a vendor here a hood is usually included along with install and tuning.

if buying new direct from magn or somewhere else it should come with a programmer...not the best of tunes, leaves alot on the table. but its a safe tune
u could to what i did. bartered out the programmer for a smaller pulley. but magna wont do this. you'd have to go with a vendor..no need for the $300+ handheld tuner if a shop is setting things up for you...
