I think you are going to find the next weakest link in your car. Hope I'm wrong.

I really don't believe that you will see that much difference between a mt drag radial and et streets on an auto car. the difference would be huge if you had a manual trans though. I'm not saying that you can't put it in the 8's, just that it isn't a matter of simply making more power. after all, power is fairly easy to make with turbos. putting it down and not breaking things with an irs becomes the problem.

and good luck. I'd like to see you break 150mph.

if i bust into the 150 and/or 9.2 9.3 itll be a successful day to say the least. i think my biggest problem is that the stall is to tight. if i get it restalled to 3800 4000 i know itll do it. i wanna say i did it though with a tight azz stall!

Nick , Since I heard your running nitrous now you should go 8's easy .

Seriously , Good luck on Monday , when your car ran the 9.9 back in November was that with you or 5.0killa driving ? I think it was 5.0killa , so now the car will weigh about the same with you driving with the lighter CCW set up , I predict a 9.50-60 at 147 with you driving .

Never heard of delvalracing.net , weather conditions look good for Monday , with the changes you've made , you should come home with a new best .Your Vette is not your daily driver is it ? Why not put the looser stall in it ?

I was supposed to run my car today at Atco , just my luck we got rained out and I'm out of town most of the this coming week , maybe next weekend .

Nick

Just be careful out there. When I was at ATCO a guy spun 360 at the finish line and put it into the wall at a very high speed. He only walked away because he had a full 7.5 second cage in his car.

As you know sh*t happens.

I believe as Stealth pointed out, it was Nick's car, but not Nick behind the wheel for those 9.xx runs.

the 9.9X run was the last run of the day, track was closing. the pass before that I had made 10.02 @ 145. we had made a minor edit right after my run.
keep in mind there was SO MUCH STUFF that we didnt try! we were shifting at 6250!!!!!!!

stealth bustin my ***** there was some net smacktalk on delvalracing.net that was saying he was spraying.......next thing it gets outa hand. you know net talk is b*ll****. that site has actually closed some of the sections in their forums. there was a deadly accident on the roosevelt blvd in philly and the cops traced it back to that site.

mike me and jon were thinkin about that. we did some blasts w/ccw @ test track and we both felt that IF the converter stalled another 400 500 rpms that it would be ****! no daily here. even if i loosen ill can set up tcc so that itll lock at 42 mph and itll feel good.

Go for it , and good luck tomorrow . I haven't run my car yet with the 3.15's , I need less gear on the top end , but the 3.15's may hurt me down low , I'm going to try coming out with more boost once I get used to launching the car again , I won't know how hard I can stand on the brake with my knee still not 100% but I'll give it my best , I may need to have my converter re-stalled with the 3.15's , we'll find out soon .
